Hello, I have a text-less button in my Xamarin.Forms application. The button is a sublcass of the Xamarin.Forms.Controls.Button and has a custom renderer built. My issue is that because there is no text, nothing changes on the button on touchdown leaving it looking dead and unresponsive. So in my custom iOS renderer i added a touchdown and touchup(inside outside cancel etc..) in order to change the background color in different states. I put console.writelines in these events because they were not working. I have found that the 2 events get called after you physically release your touch on the device. Is there a way in xamarin.forms to do touchup vs touchdown (instead of just .clicked) or a way to get this to work in the renderer?
