I was exploring putting icons on the TabbedPage tabbar using a custom renderer when I noticed something rather interesting regarding the treatment of drawable resources in the Android project.
According to this document, when I add a AdroidResource to a project the Resource.designer.cs file is supposed to be updated and an ID given to the new resource.
This is not happening for me.
Questions:
1. The documentation screen shots show Xamarin Studio, where as I am using Visual Studio. Would the actions be different in VS vs. XS?
Since this is actually Xamarin.Forms, does that document apply?
Any ideas how to get around the issue of the references not being added to the resources.designer.cs, besides entering them manually?
