I get this when I run a Xamarin Forms app in the iOS simulator:
FormsTemplateiOS[1582:23408] MonoTouch: Socket error while connecting to MonoDevelop on 127.0.0.1:10000: Connection refused
I searched the forums and found something from 2013 that said this was a known bug but would be fixed. I did have a much older version of Xamarin Studio installed (from a year+ ago) prior to updating to the version. I have completely uninstalled Xamarin studio (using the script) and reinstalled and still get the same error.
Additionally all of the options to run the application (under the 'Run' menu item) are grayed out and the way I can run is by right clicking the .iOS version in the solution.
FWIW, I do not get this error when I use an regular iOS and not a forms template.
Thanks,
Brian
