Hello
I am using Xamarin 'right out of the box' and I have created a Xamarin.Forms Portable C# Blank App.
Upon creation of the solution I straight away get the error:
Could not install package 'Xamarin.Forms 1.3.1.6296'. You are trying to install this package into a project that targets '.NETFramework,Version=v4.5,Profile=Profile78', but the package does not contain any assembly references or content files that are compatible with that framework. For more information, contact the package author.
I know that its trying to install the NuGet package Xamarin.Forms and failing. How can I fix this problem?
Some information about my setup that maybe useful:
- OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
- Xamarin installed successfully
- The solution has no edits done to it what so ever. The error occurs right at solution creation
- I am using Xamarin Studio
Any advice on why the error occurs and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.
