I am working on a Xamarin.Forms app. I have the usual View (Xaml with code behind), Model and a ViewModel. I also have created a "service layer" that "talks" to the backend. Is it a best practice to have the Model instantiate the service and get itself hydrated or should the view model do the "dirty" job. Both smell and I am missing a controller. Should I just create a bunch of controllers?
