I've been trying to get the iOS simulator to run from Visual Studio with no success. I've seen alot of people that are having the same issue, some being able to fix it, others not. I'm one of the ones who have not been able to fix it, for weeks.
I'm using Visual Studio 2013, I've got a Mac with the build host running. I set up a new Xamarin Forms Shared project, I added the Solution Platforms selector and debug from the Debug menu. I've made no changes to the project whatsoever (still have the default 'Hello Forms!' page), and the simulator fails to start, with this error:
error MT0024: Could not find required file '/Users/drewbacca/Library/Caches/Xamarin/mtbs/builds/TestiOS/a6e80fcdf0b87c52fc65575cca4f2616/bin/iPhoneSimulator/Debug/TestiOS.app/Info.plist'.
I've set the .plist to 'Copy Always', same result. Does anyone that works for Xamarin have a solution to this problem?
