Hello!
I am new to the world of Xamarin and Xamarin.Forms (and really mobile development in general.) I have a test project in Xamarin Studio that I am having success with getting my feet wet in this environment and things are going quite well.
Recently, I've been trying to prototype some UI and have run into a situation where I would like to concurrently display both a CarouselPage and ContentPage. The basic layout is the CarouselPage occupying the top 90%-ish of the viewport with the ContentPage in the remaining 10%, stacked vertically. The content page will include a single button e.g. "Log In with Facebook" while the carousel above presents a brief tutorial across its pages.
I've done a fair bit of searching and reading and have not found any examples that match what I am attempting in any significant way, so I am turning to the community in hopes that someone might be able to point me in the right direction.
I think the ideal solution would allow me to utilize CarouselPage and ContentPage classes as-is while allowing their layout to be configured. Similar to the MasterDetailPage class. In fact, I will go track down any source related to the MasterDetailClass and perhaps I can build something usable in the meantime.
Thanks!
Oliver
