Hi,
Is there a way to calculate the location the point form which a tap even originated in relation to the view/containing view?
In short, I have a list view, when a user clicks on a cell I want to scroll the view such that another cell will land under the user's finger.
I was able to do it in IOS by using a custom renderer and keep track of the listview's scroll offset, so I was able to get the point of tap (using also the cell offset and the height of cell which is fixed in this case).
However, on the Android, ListView.ScrollY seem to be broken (returns 0 all the time, I opened a discussion on the Android subform), which brings me to a more basic question: how to get the location of a tap on the screen ?
Thanks,
Erez
