I have an application which uses the MasterDetailPage in both Android and Windows Phone. It based heavily on the excellent sample code from Scott Hanselman which I believe is based on work by James Montemagno.

It works perfectly in Android, in Windows Phone, if I select the button to bring up the Navigation Section, more than once, too quickly I get the following error.
"System.InvalidOperationException was unhandled
Message: An unhandled exception of type 'System.InvalidOperationException' occurred in Microsoft.Phone.Interop.ni.dll"
It is almost as if after the first click, if you click again whilst it is still trying to display the navigation pane, the error occurs.
I found this is a problem even with quite trivial examples as well as the sample mentioned above.
Is this a known problem and is there a work around?
