The main page for my app is a Navigation page.
I have a requirement to have a page laid out with a list of items on the left, and the right side should be a single content area that rebinds based on the users selection from the left side item list. In addition the left and right side need to scroll independently of each other.
My first thought was to use a masterdetail page for this, however it appears that I can't simply use pushasync to navigate to a masterdetail page. When I tried the master portion of the page refused to display at all.
To test that the navigationpage was the culprit I modified my App.cs to return the masterdetail page as the main page. When I did that the masterdetail page worked correctly.
Any ideas on how to satisfy my functional requirements?
