Just a thought that for a lot of us now using .Forms (which is great as we all agree I think) as opposed to our own home-grown equivalents the most useful and urgent need is for fixes to the bugs already reported across the forum rather than enhancements so ..
.. might it be better to release as soon as possible a 1.1.2 (or 1.1.n) release with purely bug fixes and no enhancements (which appear to have broken some things from the feedback of 1.2.0) and then have a separate 1.2.n release later with enhancements (and additional fixes obviously if required)
I believe this might be more beneficial to everyone using .Forms and of course personally I'm hoping to have the ToolbarItems bugs sorted (critical for me at least and I believe others) which didn't seem to be addressed in 1.2.0 so fingers crossed!
Also, I was thinking that perhaps it might be worth Xamarin looking into open source'ing .Forms (not sure how difficult that'd be?) and letting the community contribute and fix bugs etc., .. I could see that might actually increase sales of Xamarin as the .Forms component is a big plus and if future (and present) users of Xamarin could see a solid platform with .Forms with fixes coming from the community as well it might encourage more users?
