ListView issue

Hi,
I am using ListView to show few details fetched from SQLite. While querying from SQLite mean while showing ActivityIndicator and once done with querying and assiging data to ListView i am hidding that ActivityIndicator but the issue is that ListView is taking time to generate ItemTemplate so is their any way by which we can continue with activityindicator till we fetch and ListView render those data on UI. So that user can understand that something is loading.
